Thank You Lord(Cover) -David Morris ft Opelopeoluwa

David Morris has dropped his debut single Thank you lord. Morris who is an indigene of Abia state and a computer science graduate, is a multi-talented musician and producer.

Morris started his carrier as a drummer and has worked with several groups and artistes, and is currently a producer at Davstyl productions and minstries.

He has been singing for quite a while, with influences from the likes of Don Moen, Mali Music and Travis Greene, he brings forth a rich musical heritage which is visibly evident on this debut record.

Thank you lord which is a remake of the classic of the same name  by Don Moen, sees Morris, breaking new frontiers, bringing In an exciting traditional feel to this amazing song, further driving its ever resounding message home.

Crediting the inspiration for the remake to the Holy Spirit, Morris felt the inkling to infuse some African rhythm into the song. With a funky African beat, Thank You Lord comes alive in a whole new way, with Morris bringing in an exciting expression to it.

Produced by Davstyl, the song also features his friend and co-producer Opelopeoluwa of O'keys music.

Speaking on the song, he said he desires that God be greatly praised even with African rhythm and styles, of which he is a huge fan and believer. He recalls a strong presence of the Holy spirit while recording, and believes this would be replicated to every one listening.
